"In the Pink" has been awarded 3rd place by the curator of 2026 The Painterly Artist Show currently running online. Voting for the People's Choice Award is ongoing.

My studio will be participating in The Holiday 2025 Craft Rival on November 23, from 10 am - 4 pm. Come down to the Ruttan Building on Court Street and join in the fun. My sidewalk sign will be out!

 

I am excited to announce that my studio/gallery in the historic Ruttan Building on Court Street S. in downtown Thunder Bay is open. Come to the studio by chance, come up if my sidewalk sign is out or message or call me me at 807-633-1911. Come in and see what I've been up to.

I am very excited about my upcoming solo show and sale at Co. Lab Gallery in the Goods & C0. Urban Market located in the Old Eaton's Building in downtown Thunder Bay. The show, Abstracted Whimsey,  will run from September 20 to October 2, 2024 with an opening reception on September 20th from 6 - 9 pm.  The regular gallery hours are Wednesday to Friday 11-6 pm and Saturday/Sunday 10-4 pm.

I am excited to be participating in the Group of Stephen Exhibition and Sale at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery  from June 3rd to June 30, 2024. Our group meets weekly for several sessions a year at Confederation College for artistic guidance and friendship from each other as well as our mentor, landscape and wildlife oil painter, Stephen Krasemann. The core of our group has been together for many years and provide unlimited support to each other...a fantastic group of fellow artists! Come out and see the show...the opening night will be at the gallery on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Refreshments will be served.

I'm thrilled to be able to share with you my most recent and available paintings, which can be seen by visiting the "Works" tab of this site. Once there, simply click on each artwork to learn the title, dimensions and cost. As you will see, I am an impressionist painter who is drawn to the stunning colours and interesting compositions of Northern Ontario landscapes. More about me and the inspiration for my technique is available via the "About" section. 

As I complete new paintings, you will see them added to this website. I am also happy to consider commissions. Please let me know what you have in mind, and we can go from there. 

One of the features I love about this site is the ability for people to easily view and purchase my works directly. Simply add the art piece or pieces that you like to the shopping cart, and I will be notified so I can carefully package and ship my work directly to you. Currently, this feature is only available to Canadian residents. If  you reside outside of Canada and are interested in one of my artworks, please send me a message. I am happy to discuss other options.
